The different works in this series are inspired by a quotation from Chuang Tzu, a philosophical text expressing the cruel necessity and beauty of transfiguration and transition of matter.
Each work captures a moment of this process when the subject looses some properties of its original appearance and evolves into pure form, texture and colour, thereby focusing on abstract visual values.
